Hi.
As some of you might know I come from a country called Slovenia. That is the main reason I've decided to shortly present Slovenia. SLOVENIA (official Republika Slovenija) is a CENTRAL European country which became independent in year 1991. We are located between Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The population of Slovenia is around 2 million (not 22,5 or 40 as some of you think;). Slovenia spreads on a area of around 20 thousand square kilometers. Our ex-currency is Tolar, but now we are "proud" members of Euro since January 1, and of course a 3 year-old member of EU.
But if we put aside the "official" information I've got to tell you Slovenia is one of the beautiful country in the world. And not just saying that because I'm Slovenian, but because it's just true. With mountains on the North, Lakes in the central and south part , Caves and sea it has everything one can imagine. Its the diversity that separates us for the others.
Ok your probably thinking so what there are some countries that have all that. That true, but because of our "smallness" you can ski from 8-12 and swim in the sea at 14.
